WHAT TO BRING:
1-2x towels, bathing suit, journal and water bottle.
For this workshop offering, we are asking folks to cover their bits! Please wear a bathing suit or something similar throughout the sauna/cold plunge experience. There is a communal cubby room as well as a more private treehouse bathroom to change in post sauna/cold plunge.
Considerations:
Saunas, breathwork and cold plunges generally are safe for most people, but some people should be cautious or avoid them all together. Anyone with heart disease, uncontrolled hypertension, or anyone who has recently experienced a heart attack, heart failure, or heart surgery should avoid saunas. People with heart conditions, circulatory problems, or who take heart-related medications should be cautious about cold plunges. Cold water can constrict blood vessels, so people with high blood pressure, diabetes, venous stasis, or cold agglutinin disease should also avoid cold plunges. Pregnant women and children should also be cautious about breathwork, saunas and cold plunges. Please consult with a medical professional if you are unsure as to whether or not this experience would be appropriate for you.
